I am an underwater photographer, naturalist, and citizen scientist that loves the ocean, loves being in the water and observing marine life behavior and wants to share its wonders with others.
Living on the island of Bonaire (part of the Caribbean Netherlands) I have the luxury of spending a lot of time underwater day and night for which I am extremely grateful.
Fish Identification via the REEF organization’s Volunteer Fish Survey Project is how I got into marine life behavior observation which then led me naturally to underwater photography. Once I reached Level 5 (Fish ID Expert) for Tropical Western Atlantic region, I was next drawn to photography and going beyond fish and looking for all marine life behavior underwater… creatures, corals, etc.
Exploring the underwater world, capturing and documenting behaviors keeps me forever mesmerized with the magical world of the ocean. It follows naturally that I like to share these wonders with others via my photos and videos so that it can spread the word that there is a world down there that we need to care about and protect.
I am grateful for the chance to explore this wonderful environment. For my latest photos and videos, follow me on Instagram and subscribe to my youtube channel.
